Day 90 Judges 3-5
In today’s passages, we are introduced to the first four judges that God uses to deliver Israel. We can see a cycle occurring where Israel falls into sin, God sells them into slavery to their enemies, they cry out to God, He has compassion and raises up a judge who delivers Israel, there are many years of peace, then Israel decides to rebel and sin against God again, starting the cycle over. Today, we read about Othniel, Ehud, Shamgar, and Deborah. These are all judges and unlikely leaders that God raises up, revealing Himself at work. Take a look at my Bible Study Journal below for more detailed notes for these passages.
