Day 82 Joshua 1-4
The book of Joshua begins where Deuteronomy left off. Moses has died, and the Israelites are about to enter the Promised Land with Joshua as their leader. Joshua is encouraged by God and the Israelites to be strong and courageous. He sends two spies to get a good view of the Promised Land, which they are about to possess. A prostitute named Rahab helps them. Rahab fears YHWH, and she helps the spies accomplish the work of the LORD because she believes, and she and her family's lives are spared as a result. Today’s passages remind us that walking with the LORD requires faith, trust, and obedience. Everything we need comes from God. He is our source of strength, courage, provision, and joy!
