Day 81 Deuteronomy 32-34, Psalm 91
In today’s passage, Moses writes a song that speaks of Israel’s past, present, and future. The purpose of the song is to remind Israel of how great God is. After he completes his song, God tells him which mountain he will die on and to view the promised land first.
Moses offers a blessing to eleven of the twelve tribes. He doesn’t include the Simeonites because they will eventually disperse and become part of the tribe of Judah. After the blessings, Moses goes to Mount Nebo to die at 120 years old, still strong and well. God buries him in the valley in a place no one knows.
God saves those who love Him and protects those who trust Him. Trusting God is one of the best things we can do in life.
