Day 79 Deuteronomy 28-29
Deuteronomy 28 continues with the blessings for obedience. Blessings await those who obey God. It’s evident throughout Scripture that God truly desires obedience and faithfulness from His people. He rewards obedience, but we also see that there are curses for disobedience. The Israelites are told that abundance and blessing will follow them if they follow God’s commands. However, covenant curses are the reversal of blessings, and they will receive these curses if they choose not to follow the LORD who saved them, protects them, loves them, and provides for them.
God chooses to reveal some things to us while other things remain hidden. Regardless, it is all for our obedience, our joy, and our good. We simply need to walk with Him and trust Him.
