Day 43 Exodus 39-40

To conclude the book of Exodus, the people complete the work of the Lord by making the priestly garments. All of the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was completed. The people of Israel did everything according to the Lord’s instructions. They brought it to Moses, who approved the work. Upon the LORD’s direction, Moses assembled everything, set it up, and erected the tabernacle. He anointed and consecrated the furniture as well as Aaron and his sons. Once everything was in place, the LORD’s glory descended and filled the entire tabernacle. The glory and presence of God were so dense that Moses couldn’t even enter the tabernacle! The LORD led his people as a glory cloud.

Today’s takeaway:

• Serve with excellence. Offer the Lord your very best. When He gives you a task, responsibility, or assignment, do it with excellence. Do it as unto the LORD. This means do your work as if you were doing it for God Himself. Afterall, He gave us His only Son as a sacrifice to redeem us from death, hell, and the grave. As a result, we can be saved from eternal damnation. Additionally, He seals us with His Holy Spirit- a guarantee that we are His.

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV
